Wilding means outcast, wild animal or plant and refers to marauding gangs. wilding – for me as an artistic practice – is claiming something that isn’t here yet. It is a moving-sounding-thinking practice that is reopening the future, that is dissolving normativity and its attributions. wilding is creating strange new connections, celebrating irritation, the unknown and pure eroticism, destroying labels and significations while moving with eyes closed. It is claiming an heterotopian space for our bodies. We need those spaces to let our bodies unlearn, to get rid of violent legacies without forgetting about our histories. wilding struggles with choreography. we will move, touch, sound, play-fight and use alba-emoting as a compositional tool. we will remember our bodies and welcome others. We will dance and reflect using the whole sensorium.
About URSina Tossi:

URSina Tossi is a dance-artist, choreographer, systemic coach, and parent of three. Her work embraces intense physicality, the body’s stories, emotions and erotic intelligence as well as political discourse. Her aesthetics are inspired by the people she works with, by pop culture, science fiction, graphic novel, and by poetic-political concepts of the body, movement, and perception. “Aesthetics of Access,” with a focus on integrated audio description, have been part of her work since 2019. In SWAN FATE (2022) and HELL (2023), audio description is combined with German Sign Language (DGS). Her projects are co-produced with Kampnagel and Tanzfaktur Köln and are present transnationally. For HELL she received the Cologne Dance Theater Prize in 2024. She is a co-founder of SLiD in collab with Antje Pfundtner & Jenny Beyer since 2025 and teaches at colleges and universities, and is part of the SPOKEN DANCE research project.
