Giovanni Fumarola (Italy, 1997) is a dancer, choreographer, and dance teacher based in Germany. 
Since 2022, he has been a member of Staatstheater Braunschweig, following engagements with Tanzcompagnie Gießen (2020–2022) and Delattre Dance Company (2017–2020).
Alongside his company work, Giovanni creates independent projects, including RICORDI LIQUIDI (2025), and contributes to community and freelance collaborations such as Tanzwärts! and Ermanno Sbezzo’s [In]Edith (2025), performed at Orsolina 28.
He teaches as a guest at institutions including Ballett Theater Trier, Ballett Theater Lüneburg, Tanz Harz, and Staatstheater Braunschweig. 
His training includes the Dance Pedagogical Certificate for Professional Dancers(DBfT, Dortmund, 2024), the NDT Summer Intensive (2023), and the Dancer At Work program in Florence (2016–2017) under Eugenio Buratti.


Class Description

This professional ballet training focuses on building a strong technical foundation through clarity, musicality, and functional alignment. 
The class emphasizes coordination, efficient use of the body, and dynamic transitions, supporting dancers in developing strength, mobility, and anatomical awareness.
Suitable for professional dancers and advanced students, the class aims to refine classical technique within a contemporary working context, fostering adaptability to today’s diverse choreographic demands. Ballet is approached as a complete body training, integrating contemporary studies and functional exercises to support and enrich this beautiful yet ancient technique.
