Meggie Blankschyn
This class focuses on the multiarticulations of the body and the powerful activation of its creativity, stimulated by different improvisational exercises and technical sequences. We start with a common warm up, go through a set of functional movements and build endurance in partner exercises and individual research. The aim is to connect all spatial levels and create instant dances that feed from the articulation of the joints, energy, and inner states. This practice is inspired by Thomas Hauert/ZOO Technique, Saolin Kung Fu and character work.
Meggie Blankschyn is a dancer and performer in the field of contemporary dance with experience in theater, classical singing, and kung fu.
