Sarah Mohr
Sarah Mohr
Sarah Mohr is a contemporary dancer who is currently based in Hamburg.
As a dancer and performer she has been working with several international artists and different projects/companies in the past ten years. To pass by the values of the depth of her approach through dancing she has been working as a teacher in many studios in Germany, e.g. supporting the students of the Contemporary Dance School in Hamburg over the past 5 years.
As a last resort she was a dancer for the Sticky Trace Company from 2015-2018 where she studied the depth of emotions with the ensemble and portrayed cycles of internal states in a trilogy on tour.
Since then she has been supporting peoples mental health through body psychotherapy related approaches working with people in need and performers, applying a variety of physical and mental principles.
As her research towards dance wants to grow out of the work inside of studios and incorporate a wider and broad understanding of the connection to space, society and being no projection but a juicy version of onsefelf while dancing - she has left the dance world to return richer. Latest she was studying with Joseph Bartz and Jonathan and is currently researching on Somatics in Parkour with Flynn Disney.
Everything connects to dance in the beginning and in the end.
Her passion for science and strength has been very much supported by a group of scientists and movers around the globe, called Ascending Strength. Using her principles to dance into and out of the floor, staying connected with what is, letting go of unnecessary believes, finding less, to experience more.
She will continue studying the unknown and sharing all her discoveries in her classes and workshops.
